Great Help for Self-published Authors: OnlineBookClub.org

In my ongoing search for websites that acknowledge and support the self-published author, one of the best is the Scott Hughes’ OnlineBookClub.org, a free site for authors and readers that has been around for about a decade with an outrageously large  number of subscribers (over 1 million). What follows is a bit of information about them taken from their website. Those of you who are self-published authors, or planning to be, will find OnlineBookClub.org very interesting and useful. I urge you to check them out.

They provided me with an excellent, professional review of my book, Learn to Love: Guide to Healing Your Disappointing Love Life and the chance to add additional reviews to strengthen my marketing profile on sites like Amazon.com and Goodreads.com. In addition to offering programs to help authors like me compile reviews, they also offer opportunities for community involvement with other authors and book lovers that is quite exceptional and far-reaching.

I received my original review a while ago, and I’m definitely planning to continue to use their excellent review services (i.e. 1000 additional reviews) to buildup my book’s marketing strength. Being a self-published author is difficult enough these days  in that the responsibility is solely yours to both write and market your book. Getting “real” quality reviews is an extremely important part of that marketing process. OnlineBookClub.org makes getting a bigger number of quality reviews a lot easier, and affordable. Here’s their info:
