This book reads like a conversation between myself and someone who is curious about what constitutes a HEALTHY LOVE RELATIONSHIP. The emphasis is on the importance of what you’ve learned about love and whether or not it is healthy, and what you can do about it if what you’ve learned is not healthy.
I talk about all the important “ingredients” of a healthy love relationship. In fact, each ingredient gets a chapter. I also talk about how what you’ve learned about love can be “unlearned” if unhealthy and something new or better learned or re-learned. Very practical stuff.
My objective in writing this book is to help curious readers work on themselves and their love relationships, both areas are important when seeking to have a HEALTHY LOVE RELATIONSHIP. Remember the relationship you have with yourself, in addition to the kind of relationship you tend to set up when you fall in love, both will determine the “health” (or lack there of) of your love life.
Our love lives are often influenced by unhealthy relationship experiences we had early in life that negatively affect the kind of relationship we form when in love. If you become aware of this kind of thing you can begin to do something about it. If not, it can control your love life creating unhappiness and repetitive disappointments.
